A small weekly zine project by Ufal Salman. Some curated pieces from the last weekthat I wanted to share to you. Probably we need to wind down a little bit, and don't push yourself with new information everyday that keeps coming in. Or at least that's how I can explain this place to you in a short paragraph.

So, Summary of The Week is an online weekly zine that talks about everything I encounter and makes me interested every single week both in real life and in the online space. Here I am, Ufal Salman, is your only host and writer for this zine, want to let you know and share it with you about what kind of things that I found throughout the days.

But as opposed to the accessibility and the faster pace of the social media, whether it's the traditional-corporate ones like Facebook, Twitter, etc, or the alternative-decentralized like the Fediverese and the Atmosphere, and since I want to emphasized the spirit of indie web and small web, I want to share it with slower pace, simpler manner, and more freedom.

Other than that, I don't use this Neocities website after a long time and I already moved to somewhere else because I have more freedom in terms of technicality, I want to make it a zine instead and still be able to engage into that direction.

I choose to publish the issues weekly since it's not too long like every month and not too quick like every day. So, somewhere in between should be an okay. You know, dealing with things online these days is hard. We keep getting bombarded with information, and I think we humans should be just accept everything that come to us like that.

I will deliver around five to six topics each week in average, so there will be a topic for each day on a week. Some of them are just short paragraphs, some of them might need to be accompanied by a cup of coffee, or tea, or whichever beverages you like. Soda? Maybe.

As a colophon, this website is hosted at Neocities as I said before, everything is written in pure HTML and CSS, for now still avoiding Javascript as best I could do. I don't use any kind of static site generator or framework for this website, for now. But I do use a Python script to generate an RSS feed from the existing posts. Yes, this website have an RSS feed that you can follow from here, or on the menu above.
